Hello all, I have a simple question concerning sediment, specifically in NEIPAs:
When pouring the beer from a can into a pint glass, is it advised to avoid pouring out the sediment at the bottom of the can?
Would the sediment add extra flavour to the pint? Is it okay to drink it on the last sip?
Thanks in advance, cheers
I have been advised in the past to roll the can a few times to help mix the sediment into the beer.
Extra flavor, no. Safe to consume, sure.
Your NEIPA should NOT have any sediment. That’s a flaw and lazy brewing. Any brewery that relies on sediment to make their beer hazy is doing it wrong.
